slow cooker recipe?

What is your recipe for slow cooker favoite? Perhaps beef stew or roast or stew? I have a pound of stew meat, potatoes, carrots, yellow onions, green peppers, spices. Any ideas? I just got the crock pot yesterday and I'm a newbie.
