a good easy recipe for sweet potato casserole with pecans NO?

has to be easy. im not a great cook. my mom loves the sweet potato casserole, but I lost my recipe. and that you are allergic to nuts. and all the recipes you can find the nuts. tried one without the nut to see if it would work and did not.

I can not imagine why a recipe made without nuts not work.
